The MCC brings together all who are interested in the climbing scene in the Maltese Islands, whether bouldering, traditional leading, sport climbing, Alpinism or Mountaineering. If you've climbed in Malta, this group is for you. We aim to promote the sport locally, develop international relations, organise climbing-related activities and be able to represent climbers on access issues, amongst other goals.

We have a range of activities and courses to suit all tastes and levels of experience. If you've never climbed before you can book a half or full day taster session, those with some experience either indoors or out and wanting to improve their skills or advance their knowledge can book on to one of the introductory courses, these will be tailored to suit your requirements.

The 1st Sliema Scout Group (Bernard's Own) is the oldest surviving Scout Group outside the UK. Our Scout Group was founded in 1909 and in 2009 we will be celebrating our 100th Anniversary of Scouting in Malta. Over the years, the Sliema Group has collected a wealth of scouting tradition and has proudly passed this knowledge on from generation to generation. We hope that this website will continue to be a contributing factor in this regard.
The Sliema Scouts are home to an indoor climbing wall available to Malta Climbing Club members.

The MRCC is Malta's longest established climbing club, its members being some of the islands' most passionate and committed hard-core climbers. The club regularly organises events and initiatives, and is involved in some of the islands' major climbing projects.
