2011-05-31 First speed lead climb at Wied Babu.
2011-05-10 Some tough bouldering problems as well as some speed climbing training.
2011-04-23 First, unofficial speed climbing competition. Record set at 60 seconds. The race is on!
2010-09-28 Several exciting activities! Another lead climb on my first route. A new route with lots of underholds and chimney-like cracks. Moved a rope at height with appropriate protection. All in all an exciting event with new skills learned!
2010-09-07 My second lead climb. This time I also set up the rope for top-roping. A very rewarding experience. This was also the fifrst activity with my brand new climbing rope.
2010-08-24 My first lead climb! It was a relatively short, easy route. But it had a few tricky gaps and mild overhangs to maneuver. Everything seems tougher when leading. A lot tougher. Tips for the future: warm up and stretch more, visualise the next protection clearly, don't be afraid to fall too much.
2010-07-20 My first ever climb on top-rope. Fear of heights and lack of trust in equipment and belayer resulted in an enormous adrenaline high. Perhaps still one of the most exciting climbs I've ever made.
